Mesquite High Accounting Team Takes First Place at UIL Competition

Mesquite ISD Students Winners at T.A.F.E. Regional Competition

Mesquite ISD T.A.F.E. (Texas Association of Future Educators) students earned recognition at the organization’s recent regional competition. T.A.F.E. is a statewide organization that offers students the opportunity to explore the teaching profession by participating in various activities, workshops, contests, scholarships and summer workshops. Auto Program’s Final Project Valuable in More Ways Than One

Mesquite ISD’s Automotive Program students turn out the most valuable student project imaginable: a fully built and painted car.  The 2011-12 auto classes’ newly completed replica of a 1965 Ford Cobra is expected to earn $35,000 to $40,000 at www.texasclassiccarsofdallas.com, a company that specializes in classic cars and offers an online auction.

Before this replica of a ’65 Ford Cobra was sent to auction, the following students admired their newly completed high school project one last time.
